MARLTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NURSE'S PAGE
My name is Mary Perocho and I am the school nurse of the Marlton Elementary School.
I am a graduate of the Helene Fuld School of Nursing and I obtained my Bachelors Degree with my school nurse certificate from Rowan University. In June, 2011, I completed my Masters Program in Health Promotion Management. I have been a school nurse in Marlton for 20 years.
Prior to school nursing, I have worked in the Coronary Care Unit, the Intensive Care Unit as well as the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. For the past 30 years, I have also worked in both the Trauma Emergency Room and the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. I love taking care of your children and I enjoy the variety that my two jobs offer me helping me to maintain my skills while keeping me current on the latest developments in health care.
I am certified in CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and I am also an American Heart Association CPR instructor who is responsible for teaching CPR to school employees.
